I have recently employed an app named Five Stars to give input to Kansas legislators Moran, Marshall, and Davis. As most others, finding the time and will to write or call is now upgraded and made easier with technology. My concerns about issues like the unfortunate Musk involvement allow me to be expressed with Five Stars. I know that talking directly with legislators is impossible so, at least with Five Stars, I can record yet another tick on their listing.

Thanks for this. It appears to me, after writing to Marshall and Moran to no avail..(no response), that they may know that Musk's actions are illegal and are usurping their powers to authorize and fund programs, ( or to deauthorize and defund), but choose to let others fight their battles. The real test will be whether the Administration complies with court orders to resume funding programs, funding which was illegally stopped--and whether the Administration will the go through the legal steps to abolish programs.

If there is any hope of changing these disastrous actions taken by Trump and Mus, with the support and approval of the Republicans in Congress, aggressive public opinion response is our only hope. The courts are taking action but that approach is slow and complicated.

Our Republican legislators must be convinced that their support in red states is deteriorating and at risk in the 2026 elections. Red state citizens must be alerted to the fact that their Republican representatives are following the Trump-Musk plan to reduce their social services such as Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid that many rely on for their income and medical care.
